since we launched the UK’s first Fairtrade espresso. The sale of Fairtrade certified Matthew Algie coffee has helped to generate nearly £7million in Fairtrade Premiums since 1997.
Launched 5 new projects at origin. These have directly benefited 519 members of the coffee growing communities that we source from.
We have increased the proportion of our coffee that we source from our key suppliers by

Visited 21 producer partners and hosted visits from 8 coffee suppliers.
Introduced packaging reductions to our coffee products. Once all the changes have been implemented, we are expecting to save 3,750kg of packaging per year.
