7. LOOKING TO THE FUTURE: What do we want to achieve by 2025?

This will lay the foundations for our net zero journey, and bring alignment in the time periods that we will work towards for our environmental, social and economic sustainability objectives. From 2025 onwards our intention is to work on a 5-year planning cycle across our five pillars.

SUSTAINABLE SOURCING OF COFFEE
New 2025 Goals

90% of coffee we source has at least one certification

Visit at least 1 key sourcing origin

Provide 70% of Core suppliers with coffee contracts prior to or in the first month of the harvest season
SUSTAINABLE SOURCING OF OTHER PRODUCTS
New 2025 Goals
1
20% of our Matthew Algie coffee product range are packed in recyclable packaging.

Create, share and agree carbon reduction plan with 5 named suppliers.

Communicate our requirements for human rights and environment due diligence to key suppliers (those supplying us products containing high-risk raw material).

All key suppliers have emissions data requirement written into contracts (those suppliers that are in the top 5% of supply chain emissions contributors).
